Nicky is a mature entrant to the Equestrian world! She started with one horse, which was her daughter's thoroughbred mare, and has since acquired four more (she's still not sure how this happened!)

As well as riding she is  currently learning to drive (horses not cars), which has proved quite eventful since one of the horses in question is her small fat Shetland pony - with an attitude problem! She's not sure that her driving instructor Richard has got over the shock yet!

 Nicky has the Certificate in Equine Transport, and she has plenty of hands-on experience, enthusiasum and love for our equine friends. Her other interests are painting - especially animals (shes a fine artist), gardening and looking after her ever-expanding menagerie of chickens and ducks.
