EQUESTRIAN HIRE & TRANSPORT SERVICES
We are a reliable Defra approved equine transport service, based in the Yorkshire area and we offer a self-hire or a transport/groom service. Whichever service you choose we provide the highest standards of care for you and your horse(s)
All types of transport undertaken including yard/horse moves, shows, events and veterinary visits.
Emergency call outs are also available.
We hold the Welfare in Transport - Animal Transporter Certificate ID no. 38891
Our team is experienced and BHS qualified. Should you require a groom, you will receive the services of Lucy Farquhar, who is introduced in more detail on the following page. Lucy and her partner, Nicky Schofield, form the basis of the Hot to Trot service.
We use a brand new Equi-Trek Sonic 3.5 tonne horse box, which has been built to our own exacting standards The Sonic can transport up to two horses (max. 17hh) and can be hired on a standard driving licence.
The Sonic uses side-loading for ease and convenience and your horses are rear-facing, which has been proven to be safer and more comfortable for the horses
CCTV camera facilities to monitor your horse whilst in transit.
A separate tack and changing area is included, separate from the horses, and comes with two saddle racks, two bridle racks and two coat hooks.
Additional storage for rugs and other equipment is available over the cab.
